Guenther Knoblich, M.D. joined Ashland Orthopedic Associates
in 2007 as a general orthopedic surgeon with special interests in knee and
shoulder arthroscopy, sports medicine, minimally invasive joint replacement,
and hand surgery.
Dr. Knoblich graduated from University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, with a
Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences in 1987. He received his
medical degree from Stanford School of Medicine in 1995, where he completed
his residency training in 2000. He comes to Ashland after being a senior
partner in The Permanente Group. His experience also includes an AO
fellowship in orthopedic trauma in Salzburg, Austria, work on the Navajo
reservation, and volunteering and teaching orthopedics in Nepal, Vietnam,
and Bhutan.
Dr. Knoblich holds medical licenses in Oregon and California. He is board
certified in orthopedic surgery.
