Douglas P. Morrison, M.D. joined Ashland Orthopaedic
Associates in 1982 as a general orthopedic surgeon with special interest in
foot and ankle problems and in sports medicine.
Dr. Morrison graduated cum laude from the University of Utah, Salt Lake
City, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology in 1969. He received a
fellowship from the National Science Foundation and attended graduate school
at the University of Texas in Austin.
In 1975 he received his medical degree from the University of California in
San Francisco. He then completed his surgical internship in 1976 at Case
Western Reserve and University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. His residency
was completed in 1980 at the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Training
Program.
Dr. Morrison holds medical licenses in Oregon and California. He is board
certified in orthopedic surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of
Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1983. He has served as Chief of Staff of Ashland
Community Hospital. |
